Practicum and Internship Program

Multiplying Hope is HopeNet’s Practicum and Internship program for Master’s Level Students in fields leading toward therapy, counseling, and social work licensure. Our internship program offers students the opportunity to apply their counseling skills in a supervised, team-oriented environment.

At HopeNet, a student therapist treats clients who are from diverse backgrounds with varying presenting issues. Student therapists can practice accurate and comprehensive diagnosing and treatment planning skills as they work to obtain and maintain quality therapeutic rapport. We also offer the opportunity to assist in facilitating groups, working toward navigating group dynamics effectively and providing safe relational spaces of healing for clients.

Our clients’ safety and well-being are our highest priorities. We strive to balance opportunities for students to learn about safety and risk with the need for high-risk clients to receive care from licensed professionals. Students engaging with clients who experience suicidal or homocidal ideation are supervised and learn our safety protocols alongside a licensed professional.

We have limited spots in our Multiplying Hope program and we schedule interviews on a first-come, first-served basis.
