Caitlin Lepp

Mental Health Therapist Intern

Back

Caitlin Lepp is one of our Mental Health Therapist Interns at HopeNet. She was introduced to HopeNet in a unique way after meeting Kim, LCPC, while sitting next to her on a flight. During their conversation, they discussed their backgrounds in the public school system, which led to a meaningful discussion about the challenges many students and families face. Through that conversation, Caitlin gained a deeper understanding of how issues such as poverty, support systems, stability, and access to resources impact individuals and families. She was drawn to HopeNet’s mission and recognized the opportunity to support clients beyond the school environment while learning more about community-based counseling services.

Caitlin earned her bachelor’s degree in English and Education from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 2019. She is currently nearing completion of a Master of Education in School Counseling from Wichita State University and plans to pursue Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification upon graduation.

Outside of her professional work, Caitlin enjoys taking her dog, Harley, for walks along the Arkansas River, camping, crafting, and painting.

Caitlin says, “This work is important to me because I want people to know they do not have to face difficult moments alone, and I hope they leave counseling feeling understood, supported, and hopeful.”
