Blake Carroll serves as a Mental Health Therapy Intern at HopeNet. HopeNet had long been on Blake’s radar as a place to gain internship experience, especially after hearing consistent praise from peers and mental health professionals about the organization’s services, professionalism, and compassionate work with clients. Blake earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Emporia State University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wichita State University.
Outside of work and school, Blake describes himself as an old soul who enjoys collecting and listening to vintage records. *cue the record player* He values meaningful connection, reflection, and the timeless comfort that music can bring.
Blake feels deeply called to the counseling profession and approaches his work with compassion and purpose. As he shares, “I feel that the lord has put me here to help others, I hope my clients feel lighter and better equipped to handle whatever life throws at them.”
